When this client showed us their brightly lit basement and shared their vision of a lounge area and concealed workspace, we got to work. We began by building out a wall system that employs panels that can either be static or hinged to allow for entry. The goal was to create storage in multiple locations and conceal work rooms that were more functional and less beautiful.
In addition, we built in various cabinets for a wet bar and some extra deep window jams to continue the look throughout.
The result is a basement lounge that feels spacious with a cohesive flow from the walkout pool, to the sitting room, down to the billiards hall.
